The Marina District Business Association is forming its founding board and inviting community-minded leaders, partners, and residents to help shape the future of our waterfront district.

If you’re passionate about cultural programming, small-business support, community stewardship, and activating the Marina District with purpose and creativity, we’d love to have you at the table.

We are currently seeking board members for the following roles:

Maritime & Safety
Supports waterfront safety, collaborates with harbor partners, and helps ensure safe, accessible community programming along the marina.

Community & Vendor Relations
Builds strong relationships with residents, vendors, and small businesses; supports outreach, communication, and community‑centered engagement.

Creative & Experience
Shapes the cultural identity of the district through arts, wellness, and event programming, including our  Farmers’ markets and monthly Kettner Block Parties.

Operations Manager
Oversees logistics, scheduling, and coordination across MDBA programs to ensure smooth, efficient, and well‑supported community experiences.

We are currently assembling our founding board and preparing for upcoming monthly meetings.
